As part of the DEAF Talks daytime event, the Irish premiere of Totally Wired, a documentary by Niamh Ahern, will take place in the Digital Hub on Saturday 25th Oct. Totally Wired is a film about Schneider's Buero, which is an electronics shop in Berlin. We have been reliably informed of its legendary status as "the" place to buy the equipment needed to make electronic music in Berlin, which pretty much makes it the most important shop of its kind on earth. The documentary features artists such as Magda, Marc Houle and Ricardo Villalobos and will be followed by a Q&A with the owner Andreas Schneider. This should be a very worthwhile little event. The DEAF Talks in Digital Hub run from 10am to 6pm on Sat 25th October, and the detailed running times for each show are as yet unconfirmed. Watch this space for details nearer the event.
